Reforming a front garden to tier a sloping lawn and add textural and cheerful planting for a retired couple
Our clients, a retired couple in Broadstairs, asked us to redesign their front garden. They were struggling to grow anything under the large leylandii hedge that was planted on the front boundary many years ago. The garden was sloping down to the house making the lawn difficult to mow and the crazy-paved driveway looked tired and out of date. We were asked to create an easy-maintenance but cheerful space that would enhance the house, including a new patio for enjoying the evening sun and a lawn for the grandchildren to play. Build by local company JWB Groundworks.
